The Effects of psychological variable on Ethical behaviors of child counselors

Abstract
This study examined psychological variables as variables related to ethical behaviors of child counselors. The ability of countertransference management, job stress, and burnout was included in the psychological variables. The 136 child counselors participating in this study were administered the Inventory for Ethical Behaviors of Child Counselors (Yoo & Kim, 2006b). Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, Cronbach¡¯s ?, and multiple regression analysis. The results indicated that psychological variable was related to the ethical behaviors of the child counselors. The ability of countertransference management, and burnout were found to significantly effect on the ethical behaviors.
